Siobhan Wooding
Siobhan Wooding is based in her hometown of Whanganui. Wooding is self-taught and
works predominantly with acrylic paints and mediums. Her work consists of abstract
landscapes and gardenscapes that have a focus on a dreamy aesthetic with playful
colour pallets and layers of simple forms to convey themes of nostalgia and escapism.
Siobhan also works as a locum doctor. Choosing her hours and travelling New Zealand
has granted Siobhan room in her life to expand her creative endeavors amongst many
new environments and provides Wooding with renewed inspiration and energy when she
returns to her studio in Whanganui.
